Christmas Updates and More!!

Happy December!

Christmas is less than a month away! Who's excited? So, to create a Christmas atmosphere, the Chobotical world has undergone a major transformation, decorations! Around Chobotical, there is snow, snowmen and Christmas trees everywhere. Be sure to check it out!

Also making news, Interview Contest.

Last week, the staff announced a unique contest of which users must interview a member of staff, and ask them creative and interesting questions.

The winners are: Chessie, Kelsey and Camera!

Congratulations to all of you. You will recieve 5000 bugs, 5 days of citizenship and a microphone!

Lastly, there is a 'Photography Contest'.

In order to compete in this contest, you must take a photo of your chobot around the Chobotical world, and add a caption to give inspiriation. If you use a quote from a person other than yourself, you must label the person whom said the quote.

You have until December 6th to submit your submissions. You can submit your entry here.

We have an interview contest! Yes, master the art of interviewing, with your questions being as creative and quirky as you want! You have a list of a couple of people to interview:

Anyways, it's time for me to study for my exams for next week, and being a grueling disappointment at every exam I do, I'll need to work on not procrastinating... like I'm doing... right now...

Week of FUN!

Hey everyone!

As you all may have noticed, the Chobotical world has been limited on the users online. So, in order to increase the levels of users, the staff have organised "The Week of Fun!"
Starting from tomorrow (11th November, 2014), there will be a mini-party each day until November 16th. 
Everyday will be a different themed activity for users to do such as; quizzes, hangman, pictionary etc. But, on November 15th, a HUGE party will be thrown, which will be after the Game Night. This is probably the biggest party yet, so be sure to make it.
At the end of the party, the team will announce the FIRST TWO in-game agents. But, that's not all!! The secret staff members will also announced!

If you aren't familiar with "Game Nights", they are events where every mini-game on Chobotical can be participated in, to win awesome prizes. The scoreboards will automatically open at a certain time, and then close at a certain time. Oh, and also, the shop will be updated with some really cool items!

Halloween!!

Hey everyone!

Are you all excited for Halloween!? I sure am, it's only in a matter of days!
And to celebrate the occasion, there will be a party on November 1st, 9PM Chobots Time.


I hope you all can make, because there will be rain, magic and lots of spooky fun!
On other news, there has been many various updates around the Chobotical world. Pumpkins, trees, leaves and even ghosts are decorated around the world to fit in quite well with the Halloween festivities.
But with all these decorations, came a newly made quest.

The witch inside the newly found ''Haunted Yard'', has just moved into her new home. In a couple of days, she will have finished settling in, and be ready to begin your quest.
What do you think of the new updates? Aren't they great? Can you make the party on Saturday?

Farming Contest and Drawing Contest RESULTS

How are you all? As lots of you have noticed, last week we announced the beginning of the "Autum Drawing Contest"! After more than 50 entries, it was a tough decision for the staff to make for sure. In the end, it came down to only two from each category.

Announcements

Hello,

I have two HUGE announcements made at the ''Doodle Day'' Party, on Saturday. The two issues were both regarding agency and citizenship.
Both of these will be added, tomorrow! How awesome is that?? But, starting tomorrow, free citizenship will expire and paid citizenship will take over including, items, coins and of course, citizenship. Also, starting tomorrow is Round 1 of ''The Agency Program''. In the next few months, the program will be changed drastically. But, there is a major change to this program. Because, instead of the old ''recommend-a-friend'' poll system, it will be replaced with applications.

Mini-Party!

Surprisingly, today the staff came online and gave us a ''Mini-Party''. There was a quiz, rain and lots and lots of magic! If you missed out on this, here is a little recap on how it turned out.

Doodling Party

Autumn Drawing Competition!

Hello Chobots!

Happy October to you all! It seems it's under a month until the highly anticipated event, 'Halloween'.
Now, to start off this month in flying colours, Thomas announced a Drawing Contest. But now, the staff have decided to have this contest in TWO parts. This is how it will work:
This first option will be best suited for professional artists:
Your job is to illustrate any scene relating to Chobotical and Autumn (or Halloween.) The drawing can be done either free hand or virtually- both are accepted.
The second option is best suited for Chobots with unique creativity:
Your task is to design any item piece or furniture relating to Autumn and Chobotical.
There will be two winners from both category and will win not only coins and citizenship but, the Le and Basia suit. If you are a winner from the first category, your drawing will be featured on the game! How cool is that!? And, from the second category, your designed item or furniture will be added in-game! Awesome!!
So, grab your pencils and devices and get cracking because you only have until Sunday October 12th to submit your designs!

Space Contest Results

Hello Everyone!!

Last week Chobotical launched it's first in-game competiton, and many users got down to the Space Port to enter fierce competiton to win Space races. In the end, it came down to the top 3...

1st place: Grey- 5 days of citizenship, 5,000 bugs, 50 rubies and a first place medal.
2nd place: Skittles- 4 days citizenship, 4,000 bugs, 40 rubies and a second place medal.
3rd place: Adster- 3 days citizenship, 3,000 bugs, 30 rubies and a third place medal.

Congratulations to all of you, and for those who didn't win this time, don't worry because there will be plenty more contests in the future. If you have any suggestions for the next contest or any general feedback, please do, here.

Downtime

Hello everyone, Adster here!

As you may have noticed, Chobotical is currently receiving some much needed maintenance on its servers. To be honest, I really have no idea when the game shall be returning but, please persist being patient and be attentive to "The Chobotical Kingdom",Twitter, Facebook and a new social media program Chobotical has created, Trello. Please remember, you must be of 13 years old to have an account, but if you are younger, parental guidance is needed.

I will be sure to tell you the latest news as it comes on "Chobotical's" release.

"Chobots Is Back" Contest RESULTS

Hey there everyone!

Last week Thomas announced the first ever contest on "Chobotical". Your job was to create a fictional newspaper article relating to the returning of Chobots as Chobotical! All the submissions were amazing but it came down to these three that really stood out!

1st- Princess

A very creative and thorough article.
3000 bugs, an extra week of citizenship and 30 rubies.

2nd- Astro

A very organized article and great use of creativity!

2500 bugs, five extra days of citizenship and 25 rubies.

3rd- Bonjour

Very cool article with nice effects!

1500 bugs, three extra days of citizenship and 15 rubies.

"Chobots is Back" Contest

Hello everyone!

Almost exactly a week ago, Chobotical was opened into a beta stage and already Chobotical is a hit reaching 550 users! It's really not good that the game is still down, but is assured will be up in the next few days. On a more happier note, Chobotical is holding its first contest. This will need you to sit down and put your thinking cap on because this contest is an 'Article'.
All you need to do is to use this template and write a fiction newspaper article about Chobots returning as Chobotical!

 You can other customize this with cool affects and stuff or using it without the template. Because it is understood that others are not as good with technology as others are so either is accepted. You have until Sunday 17th August to complete your newspapers, for the winners exclusive prizes will be won.

Rubies and Friend Lists

Hello Chobots!

While scrolling through the world of Chobotical, a new undiscovered title was awaiting me. Rubies. What could that possibly be? Well that's I am posting about today. Rubies are a newly added currency that allows any chobot to buy any item for a much cheaper price than coins! How cool is that?!

There are currently three different purchase possibilities to buy rubies. 

For $5 you will receive 500 rubies.

For $10 you will receive 1100 rubies.

For $20 you will receive 2400 rubies.

Make sure you buy some rubies today!

Also, today the friend lists have been re-set because of a bug that has been re-occurring on the friend lists. Make sure you re-add you friends again because this problem will not be happening again. As a reward, all Chobotical users will receive 5,000 bugs for the inconvenience they have brought.
